Commercial food industry

In the film 'Salo Or The 120 Days Of Sodom' which has a reputation of being the sickest film of all times, Pasolini shows teenagers being forced to eat human shit. Some people interpret this scene as a representation of our society making us eat mass produced food which is pretty much shit food when compared to pre-industrial era where the food was locally grown and sourced and made in domestic or communal kitchens.
Even in the Salman Rushdie novel 'Moors last sigh' he talks about how the mother feeds different emotions to her daughters through the food, hence suggesting the intention that the cook puts into the food does effect the person eating it.
While we all cannot afford to live on farms and grow our own food the one thing we can do is avoid restaurants.
The food that is served in restaurants is made by people who are working for money...they fill the food with their craving for money...after eating that food it is natural that the customer also feels such cravings in life...or the cook might be angry and have aversion towards his job and his boss then the customer eats it and it is natural for the customer to feel angry and have aversions...instead when the food is made with the volition of kindness and love at home or in a communal kitchen then after eating we will also feel the positive emotions and energy fed into the food instead of cravings and aversions.
So meditators or anyone who is health conscious should not eat outside food or rather will not be able to eat outside food once they develop the sensitivity of the effect the food is having on them.
